Prof. Deyang Cheng 程德强教授

Biodata: Deqiang Cheng, PhD Supervisor. He is currently a Professor of the School of Information and Control Engineering at China University of Mining and Technology, China. He was a visiting scholar at Key Laboratory of Intelligent Perception and Image Understanding, Ministry of Education, in Xidian University in 2012. He also was the visiting professor at University of Alberta, Canada in 2014. He was National Coal Youth “May Fourth” Medal Winner, National Advanced Individual at Education of Coal Industry, Advanced Individual (Excellent Education Worker) at Education of Jiangsu Province, “333 Project” Young and middle-aged Academic and Technological Leader of Jiangsu Province.
His Research Interests include Image Processing, Computer Vision and Pattern Recognition. As the project leader, he presided 3 projects of the Natural Science Foundation of China and more than 10 provincial and ministerial projects. As first author or corresponding author, He has published 2 Monographs and more than 100 scientific papers. 20 invention patents were granted by CNIPA. 2 invention patents were granted by USPTO. 10 research findings were awarded as provincial and ministerial research results.
程德强，男，博士生导师，中国矿业大学信息与控制工程学院教授。2012年为西安电子科技大学 “智能感知与图像理解教育部重点实验室”访问学者，2014年为阿尔伯塔大学（加拿大）访问教授。为全国煤炭青年五四奖章”获得者，全国煤炭行业教育先进工作者、江苏省教育工作先进个人（优秀教育工作者）、江苏省“333工程”中青年学术技术带头人。
研究方向包括：图像处理，计算机视觉与模式识别。作为项目负责人，主持国家自然科学基金3项，省部级等各类科技项目10余项。第一作者（通讯作者）在国内外期刊发表科研论文100余篇，SCI、EI检索60篇，出版专著2部；获得发明专利授权20项，其中获授权美国发明专利2项，研究成果获得省部级科研奖励10项。

 

Prof. Baojun Chen 陈保君教授
Tianjin University, China 天津大学

Biodata: Baojun Chen received the B.Eng. degree in engineering structure analysis, and the Ph.D. degree in general mechanics and foundation of mechanics from Peking University, Beijing, China, in 2010 and 2016, respectively. He was a Postdoc Fellow at the BioRobotics Institute, Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna, Pisa, Italy, from 2016 to 2020. He is currently an associate professor with the Key Laboratory of Mechanism Theory and Equipment Design of Ministry of Education, School of Mechanical Engineering, Tianjin University, Tianjin, China. His main research interests include wearable robots, surgical robots, robot-assisted rehabilitation, human-machine interface, and wearable sensing.

 

Prof. Qiang Liu 刘强教授

Biodata: Qiang LIU, Professor at State Key Laboratory of Synthetical Automation for Process Industries, Northeastern University, China. He is a senior member of IEEE and the recipient of the Outstanding Young Scholar of Liaoning Revitalization Talents Program, China. He is the Committee Member and Secretariat-General of the Technical Committee on Big Data of the Chinese Association of Automation. He is also the Committee Member of the IFAC Technical Committee on Fault Detection, Supervision and Safety for Technical Processes. His research interests include big data analytics, machine learning, statistical process monitoring and fault diagnosis of complex industrial processes. He has published more than 60 peer-reviewed papers. He won a number of academic awards, including the Best Paper Award of 2018 IEEE Conference on Intelligent Rail Transportation. He is a principal investigator of two Key projects supported by Natural Science Foundation of China, and National Key Research and Development Program of China.

 

Assoc. Prof. Te Li 李特副教授
Dalian University of Technology, China 大连理工大学

Biodata: Li Te, doctor of engineering, postdoctoral, associate professor of School of Mechanical Engineering, senior member of Chinese Society of Mechanical Engineering, IEEE member. The main research fields are bionic/special robot technology, soft robot innovative design and manufacturing method, intelligent control method of equipment system. He has undertaken more than 10 projects, including the National Natural Science Youth Fund, the national Key RESEARCH and development program project, the development project of the State Key Laboratory of Robotics, the Project entrusted by the China Post-doctoral Science Foundation and aerospace enterprises. In the past five years, he has published more than 20 academic papers in SCI/EI journals and international conferences, applied for/granted more than 10 invention patents, and obtained more than 10 software Copyrights. The research work focuses on the exploration of the needs of major national fields and cutting-edge academic directions, and some of the research results have been applied in aerospace enterprises.

 

Prof. Noor Maizura Mohamad Noor

Biodata: Noor Maizura Mohamad Noor is currently a professor at the Faculty of Ocean Engineering Technology and Informatics, Universiti Malaysia Terengganu (UMT). Her recent research work focuses on improving organizational decision-making practices through the use of technologies. This includes research interests in the design, development, and evaluation of Decision Support Systems (DSS) for analyzing and improving decision processes. Her research interests also focus on the areas of computer science, intelligent DSS, clinical DSS, and information systems as well as action research in education. She has presented and published over two hundred research papers on the DSS at various international and local refereed journals, conferences, seminars, and symposiums.

 

Assoc. Prof. Feng Shu 殳峰副教授
Fudan University, China 复旦大学

Biodata: Dr. Feng Shu is an Associate Professor at the Academy of Engineering and Technology, Fudan University, Shanghai. He is Deputy Director of the Shanghai Ultra-precision Motion Control and Measurement Engineering Research Center，and currently leading the research group of Systems of Embedded Machine Intelligence (SEMI) at Fudan University. Prior to joining Fudan, he worked nearly ten years and held various R&D positions in the microelectronics industry in The Netherlands. His current research interests include industrial AI, high performance heterogeneous parallel computing, precision motion control and measurement algorithms, and complex system design and integration. He received his B.E. degree in 2002 from Shanghai Jiaotong University, China, M.Eng. in 2004 from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, and PhD in 2007 from The University of Melbourne, Australia, all in electrical engineering.

 

Prof. Lihui Wang 王立辉教授

Biodata: Lihui Wang received Ph.D. degree from the University of Tokyo, Japan, in 2014 and then he was a Project Assistant Professor and Project Researcher in the same university till 2019. He is currently a Processor in Engineering at the Institute of Semiconductors, Guangdong Academy of Sciences, Guangzhou, China. His research interests include adaptive optics system, high-speed visual feedback, dynamic image perception, and dynamic interaction.

Assoc. Prof. Gaochang Wu 吴高昌副教授

Biodata: Gaochang Wu, Associate Professor at State Key Laboratory of Synthetical Automation for Process Industries, Northeastern University, China. He received the B.S. and M.S. degrees in mechanical engineering from Northeastern University, Shenyang, China, in 2013, and 2015, respectively, and Ph.D. degree in control theory and control engineering in the State Key Laboratory of Synthetical Automation for Process Industries, Northeastern University. His current research interests include image processing, computational photography and machine learning. He has published more than 10 technical papers including IEEE TPAMI, IEEE TIP, CVPR, ICCV.

 

Assoc. Prof. Kin-Choong Yow

Biodata: Kin-Choong Yow (Senior Member, IEEE) received the B.Eng. (Elect.) degree (Hons.) from the National University of Singapore, in 1993, and the Ph.D. degree from the University of Cambridge, U.K., in 1998.,From 1999 to 2005, he served as the Sub-Dean for computer engineering with Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore, and the Associate Dean for admissions with NTU, from 2006 to 2008. In September 2018, he joined the University of Regina, where he is currently an Associate Professor with the Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science. Prior to joining the University of Regina, he was an Associate Professor with the Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology (GIST), Republic of Korea, from 2013 to 2018; a Professor with the Shenzhen Institutes of Advanced Technology (SIAT), China, from 2012 to 2013; and an Associate Professor with NTU, from 1998 to 2013. He has published over 90 top quality international journal articles and conference papers. His research interests include artificial general intelligence and smart environments. He is a member of APEGS and ACM. He has served as a Reviewer for a number of premier journals and conferences, including the IEEE Wireless Communications and the IEEE Transactions on Education. He has been invited to give presentations at various scientific meetings and workshops, such as ACIRS, from 2018 to 2019; ICSPIC, in 2018; and ICATME, in 2021. He is the Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Advances in Information Technology (JAIT).

 

Prof. Yang Yue

Biodata: Yang Yue received the B.S. and M.S. degrees in electrical engineering and optics from Nankai University, China, in 2004 and 2007, respectively. He received the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from the University of Southern California, USA, in 2012. He is a Professor with the School of Information and Communications Engineering, Xi'an Jiaotong University, China. Dr. Yue’s current research interest is intelligent photonics, including optical communications, optical perception, and optical chip. He has published over 200 peer-reviewed journal papers (including Science) and conference proceedings with >9,000 citations, five edited books, two book chapters, >50 issued or pending patents, >170 invited presentations (including 1 tutorial, >20 plenary and >30 keynote talks). Dr. Yue is a Senior Member of the Institute of Electronic and Electrical Engineers (IEEE). He is an Associate Editor for IEEE Access, and an Editor Board Member for three other scientific journals. He also served as Guest Editor for ten journal special issues, Chair or Committee Member for >80 international conferences, Reviewer for >60 prestigious journals.

 

Prof. Xiuyu Zhang 张秀宇教授

Biodata: Zhang Xiuyu is a professor/ doctoral supervisor of Northeast Electric Power University and has been awarded "Professional and technical talents with outstanding contributions in Jilin Province", "Top innovative talents in Jilin Province" and "Jilin Youth Science and Technology Award". He has been engaged in the research of intelligent control technology of hysteretic nonlinear systems and its application in precision manufacturing and energy power fields for a long time. He has published more than 70 papers in International important publications and academic conferences, including 18 long papers in IEEE Transactions and other authoritative international journals in the field of intelligent control. He won four provincial and ministerial awards, including one first prize of Jilin Provincial Science and technology award with the second finisher, two second prizes of Jilin Provincial Science and technology award with the first finisher, and one second prize of Jilin Provincial Science and technology award with the second finisher.
张秀宇为东北电力大学教授/博导，获评“吉林省有突出贡献的专业技术人才”、吉林省“拔尖创新人才”及“吉林省青年科技奖”。 长期从事滞环非线性系统的智能控制技术及其在精密制造与能源电力领域应用方面的研究工作。在国际重要刊物和学术会议上发表论文 70 余篇，其中 IEEE 汇刊等国际智能控制领域权威期刊上发表长文 18 篇。获省部级奖项4项，包括以第二完成人获吉林省科学技术奖一等奖 1 项，以第一完成人获吉林省科学技术奖二等奖2 项，以第二完成人获吉林省科学技术奖二等奖 1 项。

 

Assoc. Prof. Jinxi Zhang 张晋熙副教授

Biodata: Jinxi Zhang received the B.S. degree in automation and the Ph.D. degree in control theory and control engineering from Northeastern University, China, in 2014 and 2020, respectively. From 2019 to 2020, he was a Research Fellow with University of Johannesburg, South Africa. He is currently a Distinguished Associate Professor with the State Key Laboratory of Synthetical Automation for Process Industries, Northeastern University, China. His research interests include nonlinear control, intelligent control, prescribed performance control, fault diagnosis and fault-tolerant control, robotics and control, image processing, etc. He has published, as the first author or the corresponding author, more than 20 SCI papers, 3 of which are the ESI Highly Cited Papers. Dr. Zhang is currently the Vice General Secretary of the Technical Committee on Big Data of the Chinese Association of Automation and an Associate Editor of the Control Engineering of China. He served as the Guest Editors of the IEEE Transactions on Industrial Informatics and the International Journal of Fuzzy Systems. He is the recipient of the Young Talent Support Project of China Association for Science and Technology.
